The Life Puzzle Behind the Mosaic: A Mother’s Rebellion

My name is Amy, and I am a 45-year-old mother of two. Just a year ago, I sat in my kitchen, staring at a stack of bills and wondering how life became so heavy. My company had gone bankrupt, leaving me jobless; my husband’s income was no match for inflation and rising tuition; and my aging parents were living alone just blocks away, their independence growing more fragile by the day.

As I looked back at my life, I realized that for ordinary women like us, the sense of safety has always been fragmented—like a broken mosaic.

I remembered being 20, sitting in a dimly lit university library and constantly checking my bag for fear my laptop would be snatched. I remembered being 30, traveling alone for work and bracing the motel door with a heavy chair because the lock felt flimsy. And now, at 45, I spend my nights worrying if my parents have fallen or if my children are safe on their way home.

I realized that safety shouldn't be a luxury subscription or an ice-cold camera. It should be the glue that holds our lives together.

That’s why I founded MosaicAlarm with my friend Sarah, who had also faced the sting of unemployment. We didn't want to sell hardware; we wanted to sell Sanctuary. We wanted to end the "subscription trap" that forces families to choose between their budget and their peace of mind.

We designed a system that is as flexible as a mosaic—piece by piece, you can build the protection that fits your unique life. Whether it’s the Mosaic-Go clipped to your child's backpack, the Mosaic-Shield guarding your front door, or the Mosaic-Care system ensuring your parents are never truly alone, every device is a piece of the puzzle I had to solve for my own family.

We have experienced loss, and we have felt the weight of uncertainty. That’s why we know exactly what it takes to protect what matters most. Join us, and let’s piece together your own mosaic of freedom.
